Timberline Recycling Center (TRC) Tour

You are invited to join a tour of the Timberline Recycle Center where you will learn how things get recycled and how to recycle properly. FoCo Trash Mob volunteers are ready to answer all those nuanced questions!

All tours  begin at 9:30 the 3rd Thursday of the month June through October. It lasts about one hour. Just show up if you are interested.

Details: To park a car, please proceed to the Hard to Recycle area at the west side of the recycle center. Tell the person at the gate you are there for a tour.  If you have a bike, you can park at the south end of the mulch area. They will have you park in the gravel at the very west end of the TRC. This tour is outdoors and may take over 1 hour. There is very little protection from sun, cold, or wind. Please dress for the weather and bring water if you think you might need it. There is a porta potty for emergency use, but you don’t want to miss out on the tour, so plan ahead. Also, it is REQUIRED that you wear closed toe shoes. There is nowhere to sit, so if you need to sit, please bring a small portable stool or something like that.
